Registration to the conference

Registration is compulsory for all participants. Registered participants will receive a badge giving them access to the Conference venue as well as the Conference materials. Participants are requested to wear their badge visibly at all times.

The registration fee covers the following:

  1. Admission to all sessions of the Conference and to the exhibition.
  2. Conference materials.
  3. Coffee and tea, during break times in the conference venue.
  4. Admission to the activities of the Social Programme.
  5. International Gravitational Waves Outreach Group meeting (Saturday, 13 July 2019).

The registration fee for accompanying person covers the Conference Dinner and items 3 and 4 of the previous list.

A limited number of conference grants for young researchers will be available. Interested applicants should let us know through the registration form. More info here.

Regulations for participants

  1. To be entitled to attend the sessions of the Conference, participants must complete the online application form, which is available on the Conference website, and proceed with the payment not later, than May 9th, 2019. Participants requiring a VAT invoice must indicate it on the registration form.

  2. Registration is required for all participants. We reserve the right to withhold applications pending receipt of full payment. Substitutions of delegates from the same organization may be made at any time, and without charge.

  3. Participants may cancel their participation in the Conference. Withdrawal of Conference participants must be communicated in writing to the GR22- AMALDI13 Conference Secretariat to the following e-mail address:

  4. Cancelation policy and conditions. Participants canceling their participation to the Conference before May 23rd, 2019 will receive the whole amount of their registration fees (except for a 10% penalty due to administrative charges). After May 23rd, 2019, participants withdrawing from the Conference will not receive any refund.

  5. Furthermore, participants explicitly agree to totally exempt GR22-AMALDI13 from any liability with respect to travel insurance and related costs or claims. It is solely the individual’s responsibility to seek and purchase or otherwise obtain the necessary insurance to cover his/her travel and stay and/or to independently issue a claim against any third party that may be responsible for direct or indirect loss or damage caused to or suffered by the delegate en route to and from the Conference.

  7. If the Conference would not take place for reasons solely attributable to the Programme and/or Technical Organizers, participants would be immediately reimbursed the total amount of the registration fee.

  8. If the Conference would not take place for reasons beyond the control of the Conference Programme Organizers and of the Conference Technical Organizer, due to a force majeure event, participants would not be entitled to the reimbursement of any registration fees.

In compliance with Spanish Organic Law 15/1999 of December 13th on Personal Data Protection, you are hereby informed that your personal data will be included in a database owned by ADEIT and will be used for the purposes of this document for tasks performed in connection with ISGRG, GWIC, GR22 and AMALDI 13. Your Personal Data may be shared with third parties as necessary for the purposes of this document, including, where applicable, when required by law.

  10. Participants may exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition in respect of the Personal Data by writing to ADEIT (Technical Organizers ) at the following address: Plaza Virgen de la Paz, 3, 46001 Valencia, or by sending an e-mail to, attaching a copy of their National Identity Document (DNI) or equivalent identity document.

  11. In matters not covered by these Regulations the provisions of Spanish law shall apply, in particular the Civil Code.

  12. For the settlement of any disputes with foreign Conference participants, the text of these Regulations in Spanish shall prevail, and the law applicable to the interpretation of these Regulations is Spanish law.
